What is 'The UK Dukes'?
We are a British duo bringing the sport of American football to the United Kingdom in a way that has never been done before - by engaging the UK population in fun American football based content. Relatable concepts like crossbar challenges, trick shots and one handed catches make the sport more accessible to everyone. We are passionate about growing the sport in the UK and beyond, acting as the bridge between all levels of fans and the sport of American football.
The Team
PHOEBE
American by accent, Phoebe’s love for growing American football is her driving factor. So much so that the NFL Team, the Buffalo Bills had her on their coaching staff last season! Captain of both the GB Women’s American football team and England Kabaddi, infectious energy and charisma make for a perfect Dukes First Lady!
KENNY
Founder of the UK Dukes, Kenny traded ‘soccer’ boots for American football cleats after falling in love with the sport over 15 years ago. Since then, he has played through to the national level for Team GB in tackle and flag (the non-contact version of the game), built the NFL UK grassroots and community programme for 4 years, and currently coaches wide receivers for Team GB women’s contact American football team. A fully qualified teacher, it was natural to combine teaching with sport…hence the UK Dukes!
